Quantum Flux is now moving toward its long-term goal of a full language interface with the VIM. The first step is the interface, and we are using it here to add a new dimension to reading eBooks. With the VI Reader Screensaver you will be able to select a book (text or xml file) and have it read to you by the VIM. The VIM's face is fully animated, expressing an emotional reaction to the words. The VI sets a bookmark in your story, and picks up where it left off the next time it starts. NOTE: This program requires DirectX8.1, a sound card, a D3D hardware accelerated video card and Windows 98/2000/XP.
